Apik Art Gallery
Razieh Alba, from Vancouver, B.C. and now living in Calgary, Alberta, is a three-dimensional, visual and conceptual artist. Her primary medium is digital media, which provides a wide range of tools for both education, building on traditional artistic creation processes, and creating a layered audience experience within a gallery environment. Using abstract digital portraits, large-scale installation pieces, projection mapping, and audio/visual elements, Razieh seeks to create a space that tells a story and allows the audience to explore the narrative testimonies of others. Razieh is an Art Instructor at the University of Calgary and is currently enrolled in U of C’s PhD program for Educational Research in Curriculum and Learning.
